"Picture Purrfect or not?"
This is a photo I took of a friend's cat,
Goldie who lives in Colorado.
I was so surprised after I got this back from developing.  It's like I am seeing only half a cat!
Moustache to the left and Daisy to the right.
My brother's and sister-in-law's cats.  My brother took photo on the left and I enhanced it with photo effects.
"Muffy and Pumkin - just kittens!"
"Kitten - Candy - playing with a ball of yarn." (A very quiet but nice cat.  As an older cat one day she disappeared for two days.  When she came back she smelled like purrfume.  I think she was visiting someone's home.)
"Candy, crowned for a day!"
Candy loved hugs.  Just before she died at 17 years of age, she said goodbye with a nice MEOW, it is hard to say goodbye but for this cat it was like a smile, to say nice knowing you, thanks for being there for me :-). (My son made a origami crown for her head.)

"In creative photography, you must control your camera (and not let it control you) while remaining emotionally receptive and free to respond to your environment.  Control and freedom are clearly opposites but as you gain experience, the mechanical 'control' aspects of photography will become second nature to you and will cease to intrude on your creative process.  When you reach this stage, your only concern will be with what you have to say to the world with your camera."
